FEEDING HAVEN FOOD PANTRY

No Judgement, No Requirement, Just Help.

End Food Insecurity

Our mission is to provide nutritious food and compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity while treating every person with dignity and respect.

Our vision is to build a stronger, healthier community where everyone has reliable access to healthy food and no one goes hungry.

Our goal is to reduce food insecurity by serving those in need, connecting families with community resources, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages hope, stability, and community support.

More Than Just

Providing Food

Siedah McCrea, Director

Growing up in the Bronx, New York, I witnessed firsthand how poverty and limited income affected families in my community. In 2014, my mother started a food pantry, and I had the opportunity to volunteer alongside her from the very beginning. That experience opened my eyes to the many challenges families face when they struggle to put food on the table. It also showed me how something as simple as providing a meal can bring hope, dignity, and relief to someone going through a difficult time.

Seeing the need within our communities inspired me to continue this work and dedicate myself to helping others. My goal is to help ensure that no family has to choose between feeding their loved ones and paying for other basic necessities.

Today, I am grateful to continue this mission through Feeding Haven Food Pantry, Inc., working together with Kairos Church and Pastor Brent Wernsing. Through this partnership, we are striving to help eliminate hunger while creating a welcoming sense of community where individuals and families feel supported, valued, and cared for.

This mission is about more than providing food—it is about serving people, restoring hope, strengthening families, and building a community where no one has to face hunger alone.
